Acknowledgment

By scheduling service with Causey’s Pest Control, customers acknowledge and agree to this Payment and Late Fee Policy.

1. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice, unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Timely payment helps ensure uninterrupted service and scheduling priority.

2. Late Fees – Residential & Standard Services

• No late fees are applied until an invoice reaches 45 days past due.
• Once an invoice reaches 45 days past due, a $25 late fee will be applied.
• An additional $25 late fee will be applied each subsequent month the balance remains unpaid.

3. Automatic Payments & Cards on File

By providing a card on file, customers authorize Causey’s Pest Control to charge outstanding balances in accordance with the terms below.

Quarterly Recurring Services

• Cards on file may be automatically charged once an invoice reaches 15 days past due.
• A $25 late fee will only be added if the invoice reaches 45 days past due and remains unpaid.

Bedbug & Roach Services

• If a card is on file, it may be charged after payment reminders have been sent.
• Late fees apply only once the invoice reaches 45 days past due.

4. Customers Without a Card on File

• Customers without a card on file will continue to receive payment reminders.
• Late fees will be applied only if the invoice reaches 45 days past due.

5. Late Payment Reminder Schedule

To ensure transparency, multiple reminders are sent before any late fee is applied:

• Day 7 – Friendly payment reminder
• Day 14 – Second payment reminder
• Day 15 – Notice that cards on file may be automatically charged
• Day 21 – Past-due reminder (customers without a card on file)
• Day 30 – Final notice before late fee eligibility
• Day 45 – Notification that a $25 late fee has been added and card on file may be charged

6. Collections

• Invoices that remain intentionally unpaid may be submitted to a collection agency at the discretion of Causey’s Pest Control.
• Collection actions may include additional fees permitted by law.

1. Late Charges

• Accounts that reach 30 days past due may incur a $25 late fee.
• Accounts that reach 45 days past due may accrue an additional charge of $1 per day until the balance is paid in full.
• Accounts that remain unpaid after 90 days, with no payment or communication, may be referred to a credit and collection agency.

2. Enforcement Notice

• Late fees are not routinely enforced for commercial accounts that maintain consistent communication regarding payment status.
• Late charges are generally applied only when invoices are neglected with no attempt to communicate or resolve the balance.
• Enforcement of this policy is at the sole discretion of Causey’s Pest Control.

3. Legal Notice

• This policy may be used and enforced in any applicable court system to protect Causey’s Pest Control from nonpayment for services rendered.

4. Pricing Notice

• All prices are subject to change.
• Any pricing adjustments will be communicated professionally and in advance.
