Liquid Termite Treatment FAQ

What is liquid termite treatment?

Liquid termite treatment involves applying a professional-grade liquid termiticide into the soil around and beneath your structure. The product bonds with the soil and creates a continuous protective barrier that helps eliminate active termites and prevent future infestations.

How does liquid termite treatment work?

The liquid termiticide is applied around the foundation of your home and, when needed, beneath concrete areas. Once in the soil, it creates a treated zone that termites cannot pass through without being affected.

Is liquid termite treatment effective?

Yes. Liquid termite treatments are one of the most trusted and widely used termite control methods in the pest control industry because of their long-lasting protection and proven effectiveness.

How long does a liquid termite treatment last?

Most liquid termite treatments provide years of protection. We generally recommend homeowners consider retreatment or an inspection if their home has not been treated within the last 5 years.

What happens during the termite treatment?

During the treatment, we:
Apply liquid termiticide around the foundation
Inject product into the soil using specialized equipment
Treat areas beneath slabs, patios, or porches if needed
Create a protective barrier around the structure

Will you need to drill holes in my concrete?

Possibly. If your home has concrete patios, porches, garages, or slabs along the foundation, small holes may need to be drilled to inject the treatment beneath the concrete. After treatment, all drill holes are professionally patched for a clean finish.

Will the treatment damage my yard or landscaping?

We take care to minimize disruption to your property. Some trenching around the foundation may be necessary, but we work carefully to restore treated areas as neatly as possible.

Do I have to leave my home during the treatment?

In most cases, homeowners do not need to leave during exterior liquid termite treatments. If any special instructions are needed for your property, we will discuss them with you beforehand.

What are signs that I may have termites?

Common signs include:
Mud tubes on walls or foundations
Hollow-sounding wood
Swarming termites or discarded wings
Bubbling or damaged wood surfaces
Visible wood damage

When should I get a termite treatment?

You should consider termite treatment if:

Your property has never been treated
Your last treatment was over 5 years ago
You want preventative protection

Do you offer termite warranties?

What is included in the termite renewal warranty?

Our termite renewal warranties may include:
Annual termite inspections
Continued monitoring
Re-treatment if necessary
Coverage options for up to 5 years or more with uninterrupted renewals

Why are annual termite inspections important?

Annual inspections help identify termite activity early before major damage occurs. Regular monitoring helps maintain protection and gives homeowners peace of mind.

What happens if I stop paying the annual termite renewal warranty?

If you decide not to continue your annual termite renewal warranty, the coverage will expire at the end of the paid term. Once the warranty is canceled or allowed to lapse, it cannot be restarted or picked back up later without a new termite treatment.

Can I cancel my termite renewal warranty?

Yes. You may cancel your termite renewal warranty at any time. However, the renewal payment you already made will continue to provide coverage for the remainder of that one-year term.

How long can I keep my termite renewal warranty?

As long as the annual renewal warranty continues to be paid without interruption, coverage can continue for up to 5 years or more, depending on continued eligibility and service history.
