A follow-up treatment is performed approximately 2-3 weeks later, which aligns with the normal bed bug gestation period.
During this visit, we re-treat targeted areas and surfaces using our final product to eliminate any remaining bed bugs and newly hatched activity.
The Importance of Preparation Before Bedbug Service
Bedbugs are a serious problem and are notoriously difficult to eliminate. For us to perform an effective treatment, client cooperation and proper preparation are essential.
Preparation ensures that our technicians can move freely throughout each room without hindrances, allowing us to thoroughly treat all areas and fully eliminate bedbugs and their eggs.
Proper preparation is a critical step in achieving the most effective and long-lasting results from your upcoming bed bug treatment.
Our Bedbug Preparation Checklist provides detailed instructions outlining everything that must be completed before your scheduled service. Preparation includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing clear and adequate access to all rooms and treatment areas
- Cleaning and laundering requirements
- Following post-treatment recommendations to prevent reinfestation
We understand that proper preparation can be challenging, especially within a short timeframe. Senior citizens or individuals with disabilities may require additional time or assistance, and we are happy to discuss accommodations when needed.
Why Is Bedbug Preparation So Important?
Without proper preparation, treatments may be less effective, may require additional services, or could delay the elimination process. Preparing correctly allows us to treat thoroughly, safely, and efficiently—giving you the best possible outcome.
